Jam–packed with information, networking, learning and fun!

This year’s iVantage National User Conference was the most attended conference in Spectrum’s history. The beautiful setting of Lake Tahoe was the ideal location for full days covering HR hot–topics and the iVantage solutions. The conference would not have been such a success without the enthusiastic group of clients that attended.

Conference Highlights

Ryan Johnson, from WorldatWork^™ opened with an interactive keynote address, 7 Trends in Compensation, Rewards and the Workplace. His thought–provoking presentation examined how current events including the economy and the upcoming election are impacting employee values in the workplace, and gave us much to consider as we plan for next year.

We were also joined by other industry experts. Rob Eidson from Deliotte brought Metrics to life with a perspective that extended beyond just numbers.

Richard Lawler from Executive Alliance covered employee development in our changing workforce and how to present the business case to get this high–priority item on the radar of your management teams. Additionally, he looked at the increasing importance and value of Performance Reviews.

Clients also joined Marc Ramos from Aquire^™ and Gary Anderson and Brian Harris from NOVAtime who showed how Spectrum’s web–services interfaces and integration with third party tools can help increase productivity and reduce HR administrivia.

Of course, we always make some time for fun and entertainment. Evening activities included a pasta and prime rib picnic and a Luau complete with Polynesian dancers, leis, and a tropical feast.
